Sploterie is my personal knitting brand. I established it in beginning of 2016. I started to knit during my high school years when I was 16. My aunt and grandma knitted their entire life, by observing them I fall in love with that ancient craft. They taught me 2 basic stitches, that’s how my never ending love for knitwear design started. In the beginning, I was making hats for my friends from snowboarder community I was part of. In 2016 I finally decided to combine the craftsmanship with business, and that’s how Sploterie was born, with dedicated logo, social campaign and defence of my Bachelor degree in Communication Design, where I wrote how to establish a knitwear brand in Denmark.
